Author Visits & Workshops

Overview

Hannah is available for Author Visits in Worcestershire schools. The visit consists of Hannah reading her book to the class, sharing fun and educational facts about sausage dogs and a colouring activity booklet which the children can take home with them!

The session is suitable for Reception/Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 children.

Cost

Author visit workshops are free of charge to schools, including all provided colouring resources and stickers. We ask that schools purchase at least three copies (£17.97 total) of the book to be placed in the school library, in return for this workshop.

Payment can be made on the day using a card machine, or in advance by BACs where card payments are not possible.

Reviews

The children were absolutely thrilled to meet a real-life author, with many being starstruck. Hannah’s passion for her dog and for storytelling was evident and inspired ambition in our budding writers.

Her reading of her book about her dog, Monty, was a highlight. The kids loved learning fun facts about sausage dogs.

Hannah also provided beautiful colouring sheets, allowing the children to unleash their creativity as they imagined what their pets might do in a day. The enthusiasm in the room was high.

Since her visit, Hannah’s book has become a cherished addition to our book corner, sparking even more interest in reading among the students.

Thank you for visiting and inspiring our students.
